The State Of Addiction In Maryland

This is my third attempt to write this post. But the State of Addiction in Maryland is heart breaking to me. When, if ever, will this end? What can WE do? Awareness and education. Everyone needs to be made aware of this crisis. Everyone needs to know the signs of possible addiction and alcoholism. Parents must have the conversation with their children. And this must happen at an early age.

There are resources and tools available to bring awareness and education to the public and for your children. Please take part in your community’s efforts for substance use prevention. Contact your local Health Department. There are many resources and tools for prevention, awareness, children, etc. at https://www.samhsa.gov/
